The
HESTERQUAT BKC - 50, is a version of BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE
aqueous solution. Is the best known and widely used, as
a germicide, of all the Quaternaries Ammonium. The BENZALKONIUM
CHLORIDE, as generally mentioned, is obtained, from high
purity coconut oil fatty acid, following strict specifications
of the international pharmacopeia,
It is a stable product under a wide range of PH, which
grants his solubility and activity under any PH value.
The absorption and the anti-microbial effect of HESTERQUAT
BKC - 50, increases according with the PH increase. In
the chart below, is possible to verify the anti-microbial
power related with an elevated PH, considering that the
values offered are for low concentrations in mg/Liter
of HESTERQUAT BKC-50, which reduces the number of microorganisms
by a factor of 10.000 after 5 and 10 minutes respectively.
