  DESCRIPTION
The HESTERQUAT SB-25, is an ammonium quaternary, is water and alcohol soluble, it is stable under a wide range of PH, either in acid or alkaline medium. Acts as an anti-static agent, conditionator and emulsifier in hair creams formulations. This ammonium quaternary salt has, as an interesting feature, a lower potential of skin and eyes irritability when compared to other traditional products in the market. Is compatible with cationic surfactants, nonionic, Zwitterionic (amphoteric) and amine oxide, is therefore incompatible with anionic surfactants.

  APPLICATIONS
O HESTERQUAT SB-25 is a powerful cationic surfactant, and therefore, it is absorbed by many materials, hence, is excellent property as anti-static for wool, cotton and cellulosic and synthetic fibers.
It is utilized as a component in softener for the textile and paper industries, and as a dispersant in pigments, dyes and other applications where the softening and anti-static power is needed.
HESTERQUAT SB-25 is widely an particularly utilized as an ingredient in hair rinse cream, leaving hairs free and untangled. Given its cationic nature, however, he must be used after hair rinse, when no longer exist soap, detergent or shampoo (of anionic nature) traces.
